Welcome, and I sincerely hope you will join Poetries in English Magazine All Access. We need everybody we can get.

That is because the most important, daring, and bold writing and art today is being systematically ignored by the institutional gatekeepers of high art and literature. Poets and writers like Sylvia Plath, Philip Roth, Rimbaud, Henry Miller, and countless others would have a hard time getting published today, despite their forthright talent. This isn't just a matter of taste. It is a serious cultural issue that threatens the future of art and literature around the globe.

That's why I founded Poetries in English Magazine in 2005. My goal was simple: to create a magazine that will publish the best, most daring, most brilliant art and literature today, regardless of content or puritanical values. Our only criterion is quality. And we will never bore you.

While still maintaining our semiannual format and rigorous dedication to quality and access to all artists, we will now also publish multiple new works each week with All Access.
